The amino acids in your skin will respond naturally to the DHA and other complementary ingredients in the tanning formula to produce the most beautiful sunless tan you've ever seen. Fantasy Tan eliminates all of the mess and problems associated with tanning creams and spray tanning booths. There is no streaky mess, orange palms, or dirty looking knees and elbows. Pre-Tan Preparation

For the healthiest tan, start with the healthiest skin.

·        Exfoliate your skin the day before your spray tan. Do not injure the skin by overdoing it.

·        Wax a minimum of 24 hours OR shave a minimum of 8 hours before your appointment.

·        Skin should be clean and dry before being sprayed. Do not apply moisturizers, deodorants, antiperspirants, oils or makeup before your appointment. They act as a barrier to the spray and stops the process from working properly.

·        Wear dark, loose fitting clothing and loose shoes to your appointment. The cosmetic bronzer may rub off on clothing. It will wash out of most fabrics, but may stain lycra, silks, wools and spandex. It will permanently stain leather and nylon.

·        You may wear a dark snug swimsuit or undergarments for your appointment. Women may go “au natural” if they wish and we will provide men’s disposable briefs if requested.

·        Wait at least 72 hours after a chemical lightening treatment on your hair before receiving a spray tan service. We have disposable shower caps for your use if requested.

·        If you have long hair you should bring a hair band or clips to keep your hair off your face and neck.

·        If you have leather or light colored seats in your car, you should use a towel to cover and protect them.

·        If it is raining on the day of your spray tan appointment, bring an umbrella to avoid discoloration of your tan when leaving.

·        As an overall precaution, we require a doctor’s note of release for pregnant women wishing to receive Fantasy Tan.

·        Certain formulas may contain walnut extract. Notify technician of an allergy prior to service so a walnut free formula can be used.

1.      What is airbrush tanning?

Airbrush tanning is the process of applying a micro-fine mist of tanning solution to your body using an airbrush. The solution goes on smoothly without streaking. This method is different from spray booths, as it is applied by hand to your body through our trained technicians. Airbrush tanning gives you a healthy glow without the damage associated with UV rays.

2.      How does Fantasy Tan work?

Fantasy Tan naturally changes the color of the body’s existing dead layer of skin cells and reacts to the proteins in the outermost layer of the skin. Sunless tanning is purely topical and is not absorbed into the body. The amino acids in the skin will respond naturally to the DHA and other complementary ingredients in the tanning formula to produce the most beautiful sunless tan you’ve ever seen.

3.      How long should my tan last?

The average result is 5 to 10 days, but results will vary based on your skin type, activity levels, skin care regimen, rate of natural exfoliation, pre-tan maintenance and post-tan maintenance. Airbrush tans will fade just as natural suntans do because of skin cell replacement. Since the tan is on the top layer of the skin, any exfoliates will fade it. Applying a DHA tan extending lotion will help your tan last longer.

4.      Is it safe?

Yes. The main ingredient in the sunless tanning product is known as dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA is a simple non-toxic sugar. It is often derived from plant sources such as sugar beets and sugar cane. DHA is FDA approved. Fantasy Tan is paraben free.

5.      Will Fantasy Tan protect me from the sun?

No. Fantasy Tan does not contain sunscreen and will not protect you from the sun’s rays. You should always use a sunscreen if you will be out in the sun. Avoid sun exposure and the use of a sunscreen on day one of your tan.

6.      Can I get a Fantasy Tan if I am pregnant and/or have allergies?

Although there have been no known side effects recorded with the use of the active       ingredient DHA, as an overall precaution, we require a doctor’s note of release for pregnant women. Certain formulas may contain walnut extract. Notify technician of an allergy prior to service so a walnut free formula can be used.
